The short answer
Las Vegas to Bryce Canyon is about 260 miles and 4 hours. Zion to Bryce Canyon is 72 miles and about 1 hour 40 minutes. Antelope Canyon to Bryce Canyon is 150 miles and about 2 hours 45 minutes. Capitol Reef to Bryce Canyon is 110 miles and about 2 hours 15 minutes on Scenic Byway 12, which is the best drive of the whole loop.
There is no airport at Bryce. The nearest useful one is Cedar City (CDC), 80 minutes away, and most people fly into Las Vegas or Salt Lake City instead.

Flying to Bryce Canyon: the honest answer
People search for flights to Bryce Canyon National Park and there is no airport to land at. Bryce Canyon Airport (BCE) exists, sits two miles from the park, and takes charters and small private aircraft. No scheduled commercial service.
- Cedar City (CDC) is the nearest airport with scheduled flights, about 80 minutes from the park. Delta connects it to Salt Lake City. Small, expensive, and quick.
- Las Vegas (LAS) is four hours out and almost always the cheapest option, with the most flights and the largest rental fleet.
- Salt Lake City (SLC) is also four hours, better for anyone coming from the north or east, and usually cheaper than Cedar City even with the longer drive.
- St. George (SGU) is about 2 hr 30 and worth a price check. Limited routes.
Flying to Bryce Canyon in practice means flying to Vegas or Salt Lake and driving. Budget the drive as part of the trip rather than a chore. The last hour of either route is genuinely good.
The nearest town to Bryce Canyon
Bryce Canyon City is the closest, a small cluster of hotels and a gas station right at the park entrance, about three miles from Sunrise Point. It is convenient and it is not a town in any real sense.
Tropic is 11 miles east, cheaper, quieter and where a lot of the rentals are. Panguitch is 25 miles northwest with a genuine main street and the best value beds in the area. Kanab is 80 miles south and works as a single base for Bryce, Zion and the Grand Staircase if you would rather unpack once.
Building the drive into a real route
The classic Utah loop runs Zion to Bryce to Capitol Reef to Moab, and it works in that order because each leg is short enough to leave the afternoon for hiking. Zion to Bryce in the morning gives you the Navajo Loop that same day. Bryce to Capitol Reef on Byway 12 needs the whole day, because you will stop at Escalante, the Hogback and Boulder Mountain whether you plan to or not.
Doing it backwards from Moab works too, and has one advantage: you hit Bryce late in the trip, acclimatised to elevation, which makes the climb back out of the amphitheatre feel very different.
