A local shows you the trails that aren't on the map, books the spots, handles the details, and is right there with you on the day. You show up and enjoy it.
The first local on ExplorOFF is Yulia, an experienced guide in the Pacific Northwest. She picks you up, brings the gear, takes the photos, and makes the day feel like hiking with a friend who knows the area. More local guides are joining now.

Adventure-driven. We love to explore on our free time, and we encourage you to do so. Every itinerary on this site is one of us, in the field, taking notes.
FounderBuilds every custom itinerary herself, leads the Mount Baker guided hike on Airbnb, and writes most of what you read here. Based in Seattle.
FounderBased in Colorado. Skis, bikes, and basically lives outside, brings every Mountain West trip its design polish and its second opinion on the route.
ContributorStarted out contributing her photography, then grew into helping build our community. She's hiked almost every route we publish to verify it firsthand.
