Fill your multi-day trips from travelers already planning the route.
ExplorOFF publishes day by day itineraries for the national parks and long routes that guided operators run, and every one ends with a Go with a guide option. Claim the routes you run, set your price, and the traveler reading that itinerary can request you. Free to join, no exclusivity, and 15% plus standard card processing, only on a booking we bring you.
Claim a route we publish, or list your own.
Either way you keep every channel you already sell through, set your own price, and we only take a cut when we bring you a booking you did not already have.
How leading one of ours works
Pick the trips you run
Choose from the itineraries we publish. Add every route you genuinely lead, from a three day canyon trip to a week across two parks.
Set your rate and group size
One per-person price per trip, and the smallest and largest group you will take. Start in a different city, or run it in five days instead of seven? Say so, and we adjust the itinerary or build one for your version.
Get requested by name
Send us your insurance and permits once. A person checks them, and then travelers on those itineraries can request you.
Both paths live under Multi-day guided tours in your dashboard, and you can do both.
One booking is worth thousands. A month we send nobody costs nothing.
We take 15% of a booking we introduced, and nothing else: not your own site, not a repeat guest, not TripAdvisor or TourRadar. Standard card processing comes out of each booking too, as it does on your own site. Compare the rate a marketplace takes on every booking it touches. Neither Viator nor GetYourGuide publishes a single rate, and operators and the travel trade press report 20 to 30%.
More departures filled. Nothing you already have changes.
Every itinerary we publish ends with a Go with a guide option, priced as a full guided trip. Someone reading five days of Utah’s Mighty Five, or a week in Yellowstone and Grand Teton, can ask for the operator who runs it. Once you claim the route, that is you.
No exclusivity and no new booking system. Keep selling on your own site, TripAdvisor and TourRadar. Link your FareHarbor, Google, Apple or Outlook calendar and we will not put a traveler forward for a date you are already full.
No listing fee, no monthly fee, nothing on a repeat guest or a booking from your own site. Payments land in your own Stripe account, so standard card processing (2.9% + 30¢) comes out of each booking, the same as on your own site. We suggest listing about 3% above your own price to cover it. On a $6,800 booking you still keep $823 more than through GetYourGuide.

What operators ask us.
How much does it cost?
Nothing to join and nothing to list. On a booking that came through ExplorOFF we take 15%, plus standard card processing: no setup fee, no monthly fee, no charge in a month where we send you nobody, and nothing on guests who find you any other way. Operators and the travel trade press report Viator and GetYourGuide taking 20 to 30% of every booking they touch. Neither publishes a single rate.
Who pays the card processing fee?
You do, the same as on your own website. Travelers pay into your own Stripe account, Stripe deducts its standard fee (2.9% + 30¢ for US cards), and our 15% is taken automatically. We suggest setting your ExplorOFF price about 3% above your own site to cover it. Because the payments are yours, Stripe also sends you any tax forms directly.
Do I have to leave TripAdvisor, TourRadar or FareHarbor?
No. There is no exclusivity. Keep every channel you sell through and your own booking system. Link your calendar, whether that is FareHarbor, Google, Apple or Outlook, and we will not put a traveler forward for a date you are already full.
Which trips can I claim?
Any of the 148 itineraries we publish that you genuinely run, from a weekend to a ten day route. Set a per-person price and the group size for each one. If your version runs differently, say it starts in Salt Lake City rather than Las Vegas or takes five days instead of six, tell us and we either adjust our itinerary or build one for your version.
How does a booking reach me?
A traveler reading the itinerary chooses the guided version and sends a request with their dates and party size. It comes to us first, and we pass it to you to confirm or decline. Once you confirm, the traveler gets a secure Stripe checkout and pays straight into your own Stripe account. You set the price on every trip, so nothing is offered at a rate you have not agreed.
What do you check before I can take paid trips?
Your commercial liability insurance (the carrier, policy and certificate) and your land use authorization, such as a National Park Service Commercial Use Authorization. A person reads every application. We never put a verified or insured badge on anyone.
I already have hundreds of reviews. Do they count?
Yes. Add your TripAdvisor, Google or other review links when you apply and we read them when we approve you, so an established operator is not treated like a newcomer. Travelers you guide through ExplorOFF can also review you on your ExplorOFF page.
Can I list a trip you do not publish?
Yes. Under Multi-day guided tours in your dashboard, list your own trip: your route, dates and price, with your day by day as a link to your site or a Google Doc. You can claim our routes and list your own at the same time.
Where can I list my guided trips besides Viator and GetYourGuide?
ExplorOFF is a marketplace built for multi-day outdoor trips: hiking, backpacking, paddling and fishing in US and Canadian national parks and wild places. Travelers find your trip inside a day-by-day itinerary for the route they are already planning. It is free to list, there is no exclusivity, and we take 15% plus card processing only on a booking we bring you. Other channels worth a look are your own website, a Google Business Profile, TourRadar and Airbnb Experiences.
Is ExplorOFF booking software like FareHarbor or Peek?
No. ExplorOFF is a sales channel. Keep FareHarbor, Peek, Bókun or whatever you use now, and link your calendar so we never put a traveler forward for a date you are already full.
How fast can I start?
You can claim routes and set rates as soon as you sign in. A person approves every guide by hand, which can take up to 24 hours, and travelers can request you once you are approved.
Put your trips on the routes travelers are already planning.

You can't hike it if you can't get the permit.
The best hikes in America run on lotteries that open once a year and sell out in minutes. Every trail runs on its own calendar. Pick the ones you want and we do the watching.

How it works
- An email the morning each window opens, never the day after.
- A 14-day heads-up so you can line up your group and dates.
- Win odds and a ranked backup plan for every trail you pick.
Didn't win? We keep watching. We check recreation.gov every day for The Enchantments, Half Dome and Angels Landing, and email you the moment a sold-out date frees up. Cancellations are the second chance most people never hear about.
